CHRISTMAS THOUSANDS OF MILES FROM HOME

                                                     THE REASON FOR THE SEASON

Santa napping before the big day.
I don't care how many  lights, trees and decorations you have, it just didn't seem like Christmas with all the sun and sand.   We shared our Christmas dinner with 200 other military people spending the holidays on Key West.  The MWR furnished the ham, sweet potatoes, rolls and butter.
It was a potluck for the remainder of the dinner.  Lots of good food.  But a sad day for me.  Holidays should be celebrated with family if at all possible.  Believe it or not, I missed baking and candy making for all our friends and family too.
