OUT AND ABOUT KEY WEST

Deep water diving anyone?

BUSY...BUSY...BUSY * SO MANY THINGS TO DO * SO LITTLE TIME

Naval Air Station - Key West

Key West Lighthouse & Museum
Only 88 steps

The lighthouse built in 1847 replacing one destroyed the previous year by a hurricane.  It is built on the lightest point in Key West 14 feet above sea level.  They had to add 20 addition feet in 1894 because all the surrounding trees were blocking the view.

At the Top
Photo bomb?!!

Ernest Hemingway's Home
The beginning of Highway One
While the crew was shopping Vern had to try conch fritters.  Actually quite tasty!
