WAKE UP IN BELIZE - WELL NOT REALLY - WE ANCHORED ABOUT A MILE OFF SHORE

And because we were off shore we had to tender in. It took a good 15 to 20 minutes to get to shore. Which was kind of a long process, seeing how we had over 2,000 people aboard. But of course not everybody wanted to go ashore. As I expected things were cheaper in Belize. And we made a few purchases. I got a nativity ornament made from clay with Belize written on it, to add to my collection. I needed it like a hole in the head. But we like to have one from the places we visit. Belize is a fairly new country, formally part of British run Honduras. So most everyone spoke English. But it was a little scary, and had been warned to do only ship approved tours. They had a compound right at the docks, with many little shops. But at the gates into the city of Belize it self, there were armed guards. Needless to say, we were chicken and did not go out side the walls. For entertainment that night we went to a family friendly comedian act, then Edd Carr Electric Guitar Legend. He was good. He could really make that guitar talk.
