Getting off our ship in Cozumel
My good looking husband of 51 years. |

We did have an inside cabin (no windows), but it was well lite and good sized. Much cheaper! You just didn't know if it was night or day when you woke up. Unless of course, you looked at your watch. But when you are on vacation, who cares. You even lose track of what day it is! You just know you will wake up in another port.

We did go ashore in Cozumel. Some of the "old" people we ate breakfast with that morning were getting off to buy prescription medication. I guess that was the place to do that. It cost $8.00 US to take a taxi into town and they advised that things were cheaper in town, but since we hadn't planned on buying anything anyway, we decided just to look around the shops right off the dock. Couldn't find anything we couldn't live without. Plus I was holding out for Belize, being the bargain hunter that I am! Thought it might be a bit cheaper there. We were not prepared when we got off the ship, we did not take any water, and of course you don't want to drink the water in Mexico!! It was very hot, so we headed back to the ship as soon as all the shops and trinkets started looking alike.
