TREASURE ISLAND FLORDIA

Lots more sculptures but the lighting wasn't too good.  Lots of shadows in my pictures.

A fun thing - A temporary restaurant - "The Turtle Nest"Dug out pits in the sand had cushions to sit on and a table to eat from.  They had 4 or 5 made specially for the exhibit.  Reservations required.

As you can see by the shadows the sun was setting fast.  We went and sat on the beach and watched the sun go down.  That's me in the bikini on the left.  Ha ha!
November 23 we spent the day with our neice and hubby, Cindi and Karl Klemm.  They live in Largo Florida.  We drove several miles away to Treasure Island to see a sand sculpturing exhibit on the beach.  It was a beautiful fall afternoon in the 80's.  People from all around came to take part.  One sculpture was done by someone from Tacoma Washington.  Small world, huh?
This was the winner.  Can't remember the title.
It represents a man being engulfed by life. Look real close and you will see a man's face in the oblong hole.
