FAMILY HISTORY

                                                  VISIT WITH COUSIN CONTINUED

On Saturday Kathy came over to the Family Camp at Ft. Meade, where we were parked.  We had some biscuits and gravy for breakfast.  Then we spent about four hours going over family records and exchanging lots of family information.  Kathy had some family pictures, which I am really lacking on my dad's side of the family.  I was thrilled about that and I was able to scan them.  I alway thought I looked like my mom, but as soon as Kathy saw me, she said I look like another cousin.  She showed me a picture and I couldn't believe it.  A real strong resemblance.  Lots of questions I had about my grandmother were answered.  She passed away before I was born, so I never had the opportunity to meet her.  Before Kathy left we vowed to stay in contact and continue to exchange information. 

It was a real treat to get to meet family that I never knew existed several years ago.  Thank you Kathy, Eric and Roger for a wonderful reunion.
