NEXT STOP * SOUTH CAROLINA

                                           DIDN'T SEE ANY TAR HEELS

We spent four nights at Fort Jackson Recreation Area, Weston Lake.  It was really nice there.  But I didn't take any pictures of the lake, duh.  We were pretty busy, just doing general "catch up".  Laundry, vacuuming, washing vehicles, baking, going to the Temple and Church on Sunday.  No wi-fi so I spent two afternoons at the library on post, which was about 10 miles away, trying to catch up the blog.  Had to go onto the main base for laundry facilities also.
     The base is huge, in fact it encompassed several huge lakes.  Come to find out, it is the Army's main boot camp for those to join from the East Coast area.  The Columbia South Carolina Temple was only about 5 miles from our camp site.  Church was about 10 miles away.  A really nice older building, with really  nice older people.  Not too many primary aged kids.
