NEXT STOP * RALEIGH NORTH CAROLINA TEMPLE

 The nearest place to stay around Raleigh and the Temple was at Jordan Lake State Park.  We were going to attend an evening session, but we found out they lock all the gates into the park at 8:00 p.m.  So rather than find another place to stay we canceled our appointment and made it for the next morning.  It was a very quiet restful place, and we just about had the park to ourselves.  But we both thought it would be a totally different story in the summer.  They had a nice roped off area for swimming and lots of fun places for kids to play.
     The temple is a smaller one, about the same era as the Detroit and Nashville and they just have a couple sessions during the day during the week.
